Class Size and Teaching Staff
We teach in small groups of 3 to 8 children maximum. This allows us to communicate regularly with all students and provide individual support in the event of difficulties. Our teachers are very familiar with the examination requirements and have all successfully prepared students for the entrance exam. They have a high level of social competence and are warm, benevolent and committed people. They are either qualified or prospective teachers or are studying within the subject area being taught.
Teaching Materials
All preparation courses include a complete learning set from YONDY with detailed theory, learning and practice materials that have been compiled and tested by Gymnasium teachers. Thanks to detailed solutions and numerous exercises as well as former exam questions, your child can continue practicing independently at home or on the go during the time between lessons.
Our Recommendations
We recommend Gymnasium preparation for students with an average grade of 5 in German and mathematics. Your child must have a high level of motivation to learn and work, as well as discipline and independence. These aspects are just as important for sucess in the Gymnasium itself. If a grade is below 4.5, experience has shown that passing the exam is rather unrealistic.
Course Structure and Homework
With a step-by-step structure of theory, exercises and former exam tasks, we ensure that your child is prepared for all exam requirements. The course includes an assessment and a simulation exam. You can expect about 60 minutes of homework time per subject per week.
Early Course Assessment
With each child we carry out an assessment. This shows the respective strengths and weaknesses and indicates which areas need special attention in the coming months.
Simulation Test
After the Christmas vacations, we carry out a simulation test, correct it and give your child detailed feedback. Normally, this will already show a significant increase in learning compared to the assessment in the fall.
Essay Training
Specific essay training with regular feedback is provided. Your child can also send us their additional essays outside of lesson hours (e.g. during vacations) and will receive prompt feedback.
After Hours Help
Our teachers are also available for your child outside of course hours. If questions arise about homework or a topic is particularly challenging, your child can request an additional online appointment with the relevant teacher and receive targeted support at no additional cost.

Essay Writing
Essay writing is often neglected in public school, yet it is crucial for the Gymnasium entrance exam. In our course, children learn to write structured and persuasive texts. They can submit essays at any time and receive prompt, detailed feedback – all included in the course fee.

Informative teaching protocols
After each course day, you can check the minutes to see what learning progress has been made and what the homework is. You will receive the log by email in an easy to read format. This means you are always up to date on the topics your child is currently working on.

Course Content
All exam-relevant topics are covered. Step-by-step structure of theory, exercises and previous exam tasks based on your child's current level of learning. In a one-on-one or two-on-one setting, your child can receive even more targeted and individual attention than in group lessons.
Exam Simulation
During the course, an exam simulation is included, which gives an insight into your child's current learning level. The child can gain exam experience and receive individual feedback on their learning.
Single or two-person setting
We will be happy to put together a personalized quote for you based on your budget. Generally, fewer lessons are required in a private setting than in group lessons, as we can focus more specifically and individually on the respective learning level. If your child finds a learning partner, we will also be happy to arrange a two-person setting.
Teachers
Based on the desired lesson times and location, we will select suitable teachers for German and mathematics, who we will be happy to introduce to you personally. They are experienced tutors with solid specialist knowledge in the respective subject, as well as strong social skills and a high degree of flexibility. Our teachers are also available for your child outside lesson times and will be happy to help with any questions.
Teaching materials
We develop knowledge with the help of the teaching material YONDY which has been compiled and tested by secondary school teachers. The teaching material is an integral part of the one-on-one and two-on-one setting however and changes to this can be made by mutual agreement.
